It will also tell you a lot about the history of the home if you are just moving in. Our 60-year-old attic needed a full cleanout and sanitizing before we felt comfortable moving in. We also needed air sealing(highly recommended service!) and replacement insulation. I hired Victor at VR Insulation because he knew exactly what we needed and was able to do it all on time and for a fair price. Victor and his crew showed up each day right on schedule and wasted no time to get to work. They were very careful to protect the newly remodeled house and cleaned up well after themselves. Victor communicated with me each step of the way and was sure to look out for potential issues that could end up costing us later. He was also very accommodating to our specific situation and requests. I have been in the attic many times before, during, and after hiring VR Insulation and the difference and attention to detail was so good that it even impressed the cable guy who recently had to go up there. We learned that our past company (I can't remember their name) did not spray any insulation above our kitchen and the rest of the area was sparse & did not meet standard regulations. 805 Insulation has high standards & price was lower than we expected. We no longer have a draft coming from there! They also insulated the entrance and put in deflectors to direct any outside wind up over the insulation. "Roberto was the technician and he was very professional, polite, and personable. He inspected the rest of our system and told us things that needed to be changed or repaired. He showed me pictures of everything. Everything he told me about was accurate. He quoted me a price for R38 insulation , Some of our ducts were plastic and he recommended them to be changed. I agreed completely and didn't know they were plastic. I would have had them done the work but I had no price comparisons to make and besides I didn't have the money right then. So he just finished the vent cleaning and left his card. He did a great job on the vent cleaning and was happy with the work."
